OUR DOCTRINE
The SERVANTS Christian Church affirms the historic Christian faith grounded in the authority of Scripture and centered on Jesus Christ. We confess Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior and uphold the Holy Bible as the inspired Word of God and the guide for faith, doctrine, and Christian living
(2 Timothy 3:16–17; Psalm 119:105; 1 Corinthians 8:6).
We believe in one God—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—revealed through Scripture and known fully in Jesus Christ, whose life, death, and resurrection provide salvation by grace through faith for all who believe (Matthew 28:19; John 1:1–14; Romans 5:8; 1 Corinthians 15:3–4). Salvation is God’s gift, received through faith, leading to repentance, new life, and faithful obedience expressed through love and service
(Ephesians 2:8–10; Romans 10:9–10).
We affirm believers’ baptism by immersion as a response to God’s grace and a witness to union with Christ in His death and resurrection, and we practice the Lord’s Supper as a central act of worship in remembrance of Christ’s sacrifice and in anticipation of His return
(Acts 2:38; Romans 6:3–4; 1 Corinthians 11:23–26).
We believe the Church is the body of Christ, called to unity, worship, discipleship, and service in the world, welcoming all who confess Jesus Christ and honoring freedom of conscience while seeking
the guidance of the Holy Spirit
(John 17:20–21; 1 Corinthians 12:27; Romans 14:1–4).
Empowered by the Holy Spirit, we are called to grow in holiness, pursue justice, practice compassion, and bear witness to the Gospel through word and deed until Christ’s return
(Acts 1:8; Galatians 5:22–23; Micah 6:8; Revelation 22:12).
